The rope for you and only you, with ergonomically contoured handles, aircraft-grade cables, patented swivel bearing systems.

Rx Jump Ropes use an industrial grade multidirectional swivel axis bearing system producing a near frictionless rotation. The patent pending swivel attachment allows for the cable to reach top speeds or slow it down to suit the athlete’s needs. The Rx philosophy is that it’s not about PURE speed but rather the RIGHT speed to suit each individual athlete’s tempo and timing.


Hyper 1.3 and Uncoated Hyper – NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS.
Aircraft grade cable with PVC coating. Our lightest offering weighing only 1.3 ounces for a 9 foot length (excluding handles). Most comparable to traditional speed cables. The PVC coating does not retain memory and therefore uncoils nicely. This cable can produce the fastest cycle rate therefore the athlete must be extremely proficient at double unders. Recommended for advanced jumpers who can already turn 75+ double unders.

Ultra 1.8 – NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS
For anyone who can do between 75 and 100 double-unders in a row. At 1.8 ounces, this cable is light, meaning it spins quickly around your body. That’s great if you’re already quite comfortable jumping rope. If you’re still figuring out the best technique and rhythm, a heavier cable (either the Elite or Buff) is your best option. Made with the company’s signature aircraft-grade material.

Elite 2.6 – IDEAL FOR INTERMEDIATE
For anyone who can do between 75 and 100 double-unders in a row. At 2.6 ounces, this cable is light, meaning it spins quickly around your body. That’s great if you’re already quite comfortable jumping rope. If you’re still figuring out the best technique and rhythm, a heavier cable (either the Elite or Buff) is your best option. Made with the company’s signature aircraft-grade material.

Buff 3.4 – IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS TURNING LESS THAN 50 D/Us. IDEAL FOR ADVANCED LOOKING TO INCREASE INTENSITY.
For anyone who does under 50 double-unders in a row. At 3.4 ounces, this is the heaviest cable in our collection, and the added weight gives you added control. By allowing you to feel the tension and resistance of the rope, you have time to jump out of the way, thereby improving your technique and body awareness. Made with the company’s signature aircraft-grade material.



Your Height + 3 ft = Rope Length
Below are recommendations to use if you are unsure of your rope length or you're looking to improve efficiency. An extra 3 feet is the absolute longest we recommend for you, but going shorter is advisable.



All Rx Smart Gear products have been thoroughly inspected and found to be in proper operating condition upon shipment from the factory and are warranted to be free from any defect in workmanship and material that may develop within 60 days from date of purchase. Any part or parts of the jump rope that prove defective within 60 days shall be replaced without charge providing such defect, in our opinion, is due to faulty material or workmanship and not caused by tampering, abuse, misapplication or improper use.
Using an Rx Jump Rope on concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel or any other abrasive surface will automatically void the Manufacturer's Warranty.Jump rope cables will wear out over time and will need to be replaced. Cable lifespan will vary depending on jumping surface, volume of use, technique and other factors.


When you place an order with RX Smart Gear, each jump rope and replacement cable is custom measured, cut and built then packaged and shipped by a member of the RX team in El Cajon, California. We take great care in building your custom jump rope, and we want you to receive your custom RX Jump Rope or RX Replacement Cable exactly the way you ordered it. Because the RX Jump Rope and RX Replacement Cable are custom products, we do not accept returns for a refund. However, we understand that upon receiving your new rope, you may want a different cable weight, cable length or color, so we offer our customers a one-time Cable Exchange.


Rx Jump Ropes are custom built after your order is placed.  Please note it may take 1-2 business days for your custom rope to be built.

Ergonomic Handles

The ergonomically contoured handles are 6 inches long and 1 inch in diameter to allow the athlete to maintain the most natural and relaxed grip. This reduces fatigue commonly experienced in the forearms and shoulders. The contoured pinch points allow the athlete to gain pinpoint accuracy to maintain optimal rope shape while still allowing for a relaxed grip.

Offered in four cable weight variations, allowing the athlete to find just the right resistance amount to match their individual tempo and coordination level. This provides variation for athletes to mix up their training and force adaptation.
